Welcome to my 2023 – My Year In Review!  The New Year will soon be here so I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my 2023 in books.

Goodreads is a great resource for collecting information about reading habits in the course of a year.  Here’s some interesting reading about 2023 gleamed from this resource:

• I completed 106 books
• My average book length was 344 pages
• My shortest book read was How To Save A Life by Kristin Harmel at 208 pages
• My longest book read was A Little Ray Of Sunshine by Kristan Higgins at 496 pages
• My most popular book as defined by the number of people who also shelved a book on Goodreads was Happy Place by Emily Henry
• My average Goodreads rating was 4.4 (I know what I like to read)
• My highest rated read on Goodreads was Balancing Act by Emily March

I appreciate all the support I’ve received in 2023.  It warms my heart to read in my blog comments that many of you are discovering new books based on my reviews and features.  I appreciate those of you who have subscribed to my blog.  Publishers look at stats such as the number of subscribers a blog has when determining whether or not to approve a book so when you subscribe it gives me access to some great books.
