Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the Jill at Breaking the Spine. So let me introduce you my Can’t Wait Wednesday #61 pick! Click on the book’s cover to add it to your Goodreads shelf.
From The Publisher:
On the last train home you expect to find standing space only, drunk people singing, the overpowering smell of McDonalds…
You never expect to find love.
When Abbie and Tom cross paths traveling home after a night out, their eyes meet across a crowded carriage and their connection is unmistakable.
What they don’t know is that moments later they will both be caught up in an event that will change them forever.
It’s one that will bring them together. But it will also tear them apart.
A lot can happen in seven seconds. A lot can happen in seven years.
Can they find their way back to each other?
Why I Can’t Wait to Read The Last Train Home:
The author’s book “The Man I Never Met” was my first 5 star read of 2023 so when I learned that “The Last Train Home” was her next book I know I had to read it. The synopsis has me intrigued to find out more about Abbie and Tom’s relationship and to find out if they get back together after seven years.
Does this book sound like one you’d like to read? Or, have you been lucky enough to have already read it? Let me know in the comments!
