I love to travel. I like exploring new countries, being introduced to new cultures and learn about its history. I came across Bookish Travel’s post in which she shares about where in the world her books took her each month. It sounds like such a great idea to combine my passion for both books and travel that I have decided to create a monthly post called It’s All About Travel sharing where I’ve travelled to in books each month. Let’s go!
In It’s All About Travel for January 2025, I’ve travelled to several U.S. states and other international destinations. New York was certainly my most popular place to travel to this month.

Let’s take a deeper look at which books sent me travelling this month.
- California, USA
2. Maryland, USA

3. England

4. Florida, California, New York and Pennsylvania:

5. New York:

6: Egypt, Connecticut USA and Massachusetts:
7. Illinois USA and California USA:
8. Kentucky USA:

There you have it! It’s All About Travel for January 2025. Where did you travel to in your books this month? Let me know in the comments.
As always, I wish you a wonderful day.

Amanda Kay
So fun! One of these days I’m going to pay better attention to where the books I read take place, lol.

What a great idea! It’s amazing to see that our books can take us anywhere in the world. I can also agree that New York is the most popular destination. Thanks for sharing Jodie!

Thank you for reading Winnie!

Your reading sure took you all over the world. My current reads are fantasy so no real locations. I did read one based in Maine and am currently listening to one set in New Mexico.

I hope that you’re enjoying them Hena!

I love seeing where everyone travels with their reading. Pennsylvania is not one I get to very often.

It’s fine to track the travels, isn’t it?

Love this! Back when I was still teaching, I did a bulletin board outside of my classroom one year when we came back after summer where I put a picture of the book and told where I “traveled” over the summer based on the settings in the books I read. Now I want to do this next month with my books I read!

Great idea Lisa!
