I’ve Hit a Milestone!

Today, I’m thrilled to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of That Happy Reader! It’s incredible to reflect on how this journey began back in November 2019, just before the world was turned upside down. At the time, I was dealing with nerve damage in my foot, which made walking—and even keeping my foot in a downward position for more than five minutes—impossible. I had recently started reading and reviewing books on Instagram and was looking for something meaningful to fill my days while I was physically limited.

Starting this blog not only helped ease the boredom but also gave me a sense of purpose each day. Over the years, That Happy Reader has become a source of joy, connection, and resilience, helping me navigate the challenges of the pandemic and some deeply emotional times.

Today, I’m taking a moment to celebrate this milestone and to thank all of you—my readers, followers, and friends. Your support and shared love of books have been the heart of this blog’s growth. It’s been amazing to see how That Happy Reader has reached people from so many countries and cultures, fostering a community that inspires me daily.
