Can you believe we’re at the end of another month? January has passed more quickly this year than what I’ve experienced in the past. We continue to have a wide range of weather here in Vancouver. The snow lasted well into the New Year and lately we’ve had days of fog not lifting into almost dusk. I hope the sun is shining where you are.
Another slower than normal month for me reading only six books. One of the things that has pulled me away from reading this month is cooking. I treated myself to a cookbook I’ve had my eye on for a while and have been trying new recipes. I need to review this book sometime soon. Of the books read this month, 3 were ebooks and 3 were audiobooks.

Sounds like you had a great start to the year! I’m looking forward to your review of One Italian Summer, I haven’t read anything by this author since the Famously In Love duology ages ago. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Raji!
Wendy Williams
Wow, what a great week of reading. Cooking sounds like just as much fun as reading. Today I made a lemon pound cake that turned out pretty good.

That’s great Wendy! This is my month of reading though ☺️
Vourneen
Looks like you’ve had a really productive beginning to the year! I think Out Of The Blue is next on my TBR 😊

Six books in a month is pretty good going, Jodie! And yes, I’d love to read your cookery book review in the future – happy end of the month in the meantime 🙂

Sounds like a lot of reading to me! Cooking sounds good too. I just listened to an audio recording of Kahil Gibran’s The Prophet. I haven’t read the book in years and it was a treat to hear it read out loud.

That’s wonderful Dorothy! I haven’t read that book yet but I’ll look into it. Thanks for reading.
Amanda Kay Oaks
Looks like a great reading month! Curious to hear about the new cookbook–I’m something of a cookbook collector myself!

Thanks Amanda. This cookbook has been out for a few years, but was new to me!

Eek! I just finished One Italian Summer on Saturday! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Rebecca Serle is one of my very favorite authors. I pre-ordered the audiobook (because Lauren Graham is narrating it) before I was even 25% of the way through my ARC haha. It’s great to see your wrap-up. January seems like it was a great reading month for you!

Hooray Stephanie! I’m glad that you loved it too! I love Lauren Graham too (yeah Gilmore Girls!) and I’m curious how she does with this one. Thanks for reading!
Molly Transatlantic Notes

Thanks for reading Molly!
Clementine
Thank you so much for sharing this post and all the books.
I recently set myself a challenge on Goodreads, and I’m currently finishing writing a post sharing 5 books that I want to read this year. I didn’t really do as much reading last year so I’m excited to get reading and also finding some new books to add to my list too.
