Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a great summer (or winter)! We have been experiencing a drought here in Vancouver and have set several all-time heat records in July. Forest fires are widespread in the interior of our province and a whole community lost their homes due to fire. Vancouver is actually dubbed Raincouver because of the amount of rain we receive October- April but our recent trend of hot dry summers seems to be our new normal.
On a much happier note, I read 10 books in July 2021 and really enjoyed them all! Let me recap my reading month.
July 2021 Books Read:
Of the 10 books I read this month, 3 were printed books, 1 ebook, and 6 audiobooks. In total this equates to 1356 pages read and 61 hours 43 minutes listening time!

3 Romance

I was just talking to my grandpa yesterday who stays in Vancouver and he was telling me about the heat! Had no idea it was that bad though. Hopefully you get some rain or a break from the intense heat soon. I’ve really wanted to read The forest of vanishing starts for a few weeks after seeing someone mention it on Instagram, after hearing you’ve given it 4.5 start, I think I’ll have to.

Thanks for reading Jordanne. I hope you enjoy The Forest of Vanishing Stars if you decide to read it. 😊
Wendy Williams
Such a great list of books Jodie! I’m looking forward to your review of Bloom Girls, as I’ve read that also. I’ll bet that our ratings are similar!
I’m so sorry for all the heat and fire damage happening in your province. I am surrounded by National Forest and understand the danger of the fires.
I think Arizona is getting all your rain, we’ve had the wettest July in years with rain every afternoon for the past month. We need it, and I”m not complaining.

Thanks for understanding and for reading Wendy! I bet our ratings are similar too!😊

Wow! 10 books in one month. That is really great! I wish I could read as many since I love reading but never seem to have enough time available. I look forward to reading your August reviews!
p.s. I am in Greece and it is too dam hot these days…over 40 degrees for more than a week and it is going to be like this for another week, so I know what you are going through. Hang on there and let us wait for a bit cooler days.

Thank you Eri! I visited Greece a few years ago and really loved it. Thanks for reading! ☺️

Wow, I am thoroughly impressed with your list! Not everyone could complete this many books in one month. 😊 Your joy of reading is contagious with every word your write, especially in your reviews.
I pray you and all around you stay safe in that crazy weather. 🙏🏼 Bless your hearts! These new ‘patterns’ have been something else, haven’t they?
Thank you for sharing this!
