Welcome to The Sunday Post #16! The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. My Week:
The weather here in Vancouver has been perfect with temperatures in the mid-twenties and blue skies. You can do anything you want outside and still be comfortable. The next week is supposed to be much warmer with temperatures into the mid-thirties. It sad to see how much of the world is having extreme heat right now as I know the toll this can take on your health. If this is what you’re experiencing, I hope there are some cooler days and nights ahead.
I’m enjoying my garden so much right now. The vegetables are really taking off right now and it feels like I’m seeing daily growth. The flowering annuals are in peak performance too showing their colours. It’s just lovely sitting on the patio and enjoying it all – along with a good book and a coffee or glass of wine.

What I’m Watching:
I’m looking forward to Neil Patrick Harris’ new romantic comedy series on Netflix which premieres this week. I loved him in Doogie Howser, M.D. and How I Met Your Mother and this role seems perfect for him. The show is called Uncoupled and he stars as a married gay man whose husband walks out on their 17 year marriage. It follows him on the now-unfamiliar to him NYC dating scene.

Anne - Books of My Heart
No I don’t like those days in the 30s but that’s mostly July and August here. The tomatoes and basil like it but most of the rest of the greens are fried to a crisp. Stay cool!
