My Week:
We did an overnight trip into the U.S. this week to spend some time with my sister and brother-in-law and had a wonderful time. It was great to recharge even on such a short trip and gave us the lift we needed before our April trip to Las Vegas. I spent Saturday shopping with my Mom and sister which is always a lot of fun and something we need to do more of.
Spring arrived this week and we had some lovely days. The overcast skies have returned however for the weekend with showers. The daffodils are now blooming and my winter pansies look beautiful. Such a welcome sight after a long winter.

I noticed that “The Elephant Whisperers” was playing on Netflix so I’m hoping to watch it in the next few days. I love elephants and their sense of family. Here’s the trailer:

Spring was everywhere we went on the little road trip/train trip we took this weekend. Green grass. New leaves on all the trees. And beautiful wildflowers. It was lovely. I’m glad you were able to take a little trip, too.
