Another of my favourite authors is Sarah Morgan and loved her from Manhattan With Love series. A Wedding in December transports the reader to the winter wonderland of Aspen, Colorado. Throw in the magic of a Christmas wedding and you’ve got the makings of a truly wonderful book.
When Maggie White finds out that her youngest daughter is getting married on Christmas Eve in Aspen, she is taken aback. After all, Rosie and Dan only met a few months ago and the wedding is half way around the world. To complicate things, Maggie and her husband Dan have been separated since summer and this would not only force them to be together, but they haven’t even broken the news to their children yet. Their eldest daughter Katie, an emergency medicine physician, has held her own secrets for the past 2 months – ever since that eventful night in the emergency room that has her questioning her chosen career.
Aspen is the perfect setting for the White family to disconnect from their usual lives and spend time with friends and family – perhaps changing their lives forever. The tranquil setting described in this book sounds amazing and adds to the story. I found the book to be engaging and believable – the perfect story for a autumn or winter read.
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5.
