So glad you’re enjoying the weather! 🙂 We’re transitioning from dry to wet season where I live, and the rain is unfortunately making everything more of a hassle than it should be (especially travel!)! D:

Oh no Aimee! I hope it clears for you soon.

How wonderful that you got to see Celine Dion in concert. What a lovely voice she has.

It’s a good thing that I’ve been mostly reading library books this summer. I’ve had a hard time settling into a book.

I feel the same way Deb. I really can’t find anything on Netgalley or Edelweiss that’s calling to me so I’m sticking to my library as much as possible and reading the authors I’ve grown to love.

Our weather here has been unbelievably hot, so we haven’t been able to enjoy being outdoors lately. I am glad you are having good weather Jodie, and able to get out there and take walks. Have a fantastic day 😊

You too Jody! I hope the weather cools for you soon.

I’m so glad to hear the good cancer free report. You are also fortunate to have lovely weather. It’s hot almost everywhere else. It’s hot here but oddly the humidity hasn’t been too bad yet. July and August I expect to be almost intolerable. I have all audio ARCs for July with only one eARC so I will be getting to some freebies and maybe get ahead on later ones or even a few old ones.

I’m glad you are having good weather! I hope this week is lovely, too. It has gotten beastly hot here, so I’m mostly staying indoors in the AC. Enjoy your books this week!

Thanks Lark! I hope it cools down for you.

I saw Celine in concert in L.A. and I also went to her Christmas show taping and then another taping that she did, but I don’t remember what it was for! I got to shake her hand after that last one and I guess that’s all I remember. The Christmas show taping was so good we went back for the second filming of it. My friend from Japan went with us and after the taping he said “I think I will now be a fan of her!” I’m looking forward to the special this week!

    1. thathappyreader

Yes! How wonderful that you got to see her perform!

It is scorching hot here.. if I don’t go out for a walk early in the morning then I just can’t do it.
Happy to hear your dad is cancer free.

    1. thathappyreader

Thanks but Dad is not cancer free. Just one of the several cancers he’s battling 😔
