Welcome to The Sunday Post #12! The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. My Week:
We’ve been busy doing some outdoor projects now that we’re getting a bit less rain and a bit more sun. I’ve also enjoyed being able to walk each morning outside for an hour which I find very uplifting. I’ve been holding off requesting galleys from Netgalley and Edelweiss lately as I’ve got plenty of summer reads to get through before I make room for the Christmas reads. We’re also preparing to go away for a couple of days this next week with my parents, sister and brother-in-law to Victoria which is on Vancouver Island (about a 90 minute ferry ride away). I’m really looking forward to spending quality time with family.

What I’m Watching:
I love books and movies set in Italy and so I was thrilled to learn that Jenna Evans Welch’s book Love & Gelato was being made into a movie. It was made available on Netflix on June 22 and I really enjoyed it! The story is sweet and the scenery fabulous. Here’s a peek at the trailer:

I’m listening to The Bodyguard right now. I have Lessons in Chemistry on hold at the library. Enjoy your getaway! It’s been a long time since we have been to Vancouver but we loved Earl’s and also a Taco food truck which made amazing fish tacos Tacofino! It looks like they have a regular location now.
