My Week:
My sore throat of last week progressed to a mild cough and I continued to test negative for COVID. I am relieved! The COVID numbers in our area are starting to climb again and it’s recently been declared that we are in the throws of yet another omicron wave which expected to crest sometime in August. We continue to follow all precautions in hopes of holding this virus off but know that life also has to go on.
We are painting again this time the arbor over our patio which is labour intensive due to the number of boards. Because the weather has included rain on several days this week, we have to be patient and wait until the wood dries out to carry on. We have some hot dry days ahead in our forecast so hopefully we can finish painting this week.
In the garden, a David Austin rose bush has started blooming! I love the colour and fullness of these flowers!

What I’m Watching:
I watched and enjoyed ”Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between” on Netflix when it released this week. It’s based on the novel by Jennifer E. Smith. The story is about high school sweethearts who make a pact to break up before they head off to their respective colleges. When they have go on their last epic date will it change their plans?

So glad you do not have Covid!
I painted one room just before they started putting in our new floors. Moving around all the furniture is exhausting.
Lucy Checks in looks like something I’d enjoy. And I’m definitely looking for Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between.
