My Week:
I am loving the weather right now! I’m out walking several times during the day and and enjoy looking at neighborhood gardens and seeing my neighbors. I’m averaging 17000 steps these days and feel more energized than when doing my usual 11000 steps. I’m hoping to keep this up! It’s been a quiet week here but that’s just fine with me. My favourite place to read is on the patio which I cannot do year round, so I’m thankful for every day I can get out there.

What I’m Watching:
I’m looking forward to watching Look Both Ways on Netflix which releases on Netflix on August 17. In the movie, Natalie is on the evening of her college graduation when her life splits into two parallel realities: one in which she becomes pregnant and is thrown into motherhood in her Texas hometown, the other in which she moves to Los Angeles to build her professional career. It stars Lili Reinhart.

Oooh Look Both Ways sounds interesting!
thathappyreader
I agree Caitlyn! Thanks for reading.
Diane
WOW, glad you have been enjoying all that walking time – good for you. I am enjoying lower temps and less humidity too. I see Vacationland here; that was a favorite read for me this summer. It made me purchase a few more books by Meg Mitchell Moore. Have a good week.

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed Vacationland Diane! I’m a fan of Meg Mitchell Moore and she never disappoints. Have a wonderful week!

It’s amazing how prolific of a blogger you are. I average 1 post a week sometimes 2, because my brain hurts lol
thathappyreader
Thanks for reading Julian. I had to build up to posting 7 days a week!
Deb Nance at Readerbuzz
Our weather is much better here, too. It’s still hot, but the high temperatures are running about ten degrees cooler than they were.

Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
Look Both Ways sounds good! I need to read that Christina Wilder book too. I am waiting for some lower temps here this week. It was miserable last week here. And wow at 17,000 steps! I got a lot last week, but normally I try for just 10,000 a day. Hope you have a good week!

That’s a phenomenal amount of walking – good for you! I’m looking forward to lower temperatures this week, and hoping to do a bit of walking myself (if I can squeeze it into my schedule.)
Have a wonderful week!

Thank you Lark! Glad to hear your temperatures will be more comfortable. I hope you have a wonderful week too!
Wendy Williams
I’m so glad you’re able to get outside more and are having great weather. We’ve had a LOT of rain here in Arizona, so I haven’t been able to get out much. I have not heard of the Look Both Ways movie on Netflix, but it sounds like something I’d enjoy. Thanks for letting us know about it.
thathappyreader
Oh no Wendy! I hope the weather clears for you soon. Thanks for reading.
Anne - Books of My Heart
Our weather has also finally cooled a bit and I love it. You are really doing awesome with the steps. I walk but don’t know how many steps. I loved Something Wilder by Christina Lauren. It was a slightly different book than they normally write.
