My Week:
It’s been another warm and lovely week here in Vancouver. We seem to be cycling between a few really hot days followed by a few more pleasant days – a light breeze has been appreciated! I honestly cannot remember the last time it rained here. Reality is that it is now the end of August and I know that Fall is just around the corner.
It’s been a quiet week. We had a lovely lunch this week in one of our favourite places and spent some time with family. I’m now slightly ahead on my Goodreads goal and my last review for the 20 Books of Summer 2022 Challenge goes live next week. On Friday I introduced my next challenge: The 15 Books of Christmas 2022 Challenge.
What I Read This Week:
Next Week I Hope to Read:
What I’m Watching:
I’m interested to watch “Partner Track” a new series on Netflix. It’s a legal drama about Ingrid, an attorney well on her way to make partner in a New York legal firm when someone from her past comes back into her life having her questioning everything.

We have finally cooled down here in the UK and have had some rain. I feel for you. I am looking forward to Autumn more than I usually do after the heatwaves!
Those books all look great. I hope that you enjoy reading them!

You have had such a heatwave this summer Emily! Thanks for reading.
Deb Nance at Readerbuzz
It is wonderful to imagine that it’s cooling down up north. It is still getting into the nineties (F) here but that’s to be expected through September at least. We’re going to Chicago in a few weeks so I’m hopeful for cooler weather then.
Thank You for Listening and Witchful Thinking both look like fun!

Thanks for reading Deb! It’s still in the 90’s here many days but they are spelled off with days in the mid 70’s which is nice!
Jaya Avendel
Loved the trailer for Partner Track and am looking forward to watching some movies later tonight. Also enjoy the covers of Thank you for Listening and Mr. Perfect on Paper. 🙂

Partner Track is intriguing to me although I’m not one for law-office based dramas. Thanks for reading Jaya!
Mareli @ Elza Reads
Our weather is really strange here. Very cold one day and then just about spring days. That’s why we are all getting sick here.
Some great books you have this week, hope you get time to read a lot this week!
Have a good one.

It’s hard when the weather changes so frequently. Thanks for reading Mareli!
Cindy Davis
I have not read all 20 books I put on my 20 books of summer list, but I have read over 20 books this summer…not sure if I should count that as a win or loss? Will look into the 15 books of Christmas challenge. Have a great week!
thathappyreader
That’s a win in my book Cindy! Thanks for reading! I hope you have a great week too!

My weather seems to be on the same cycle, except that it did rain this week. I love when it’s cooler, especially now that I’m walking to class every day. I hope you have a great week!

Wendy Williams
I’m so glad you got some nice weather to enjoy. I just finished listening to Are You Listening about an hour ago, and I just loved it. Hope you do too.

Thank you Wendy!
Heidi Bruaw
Mr. Perfect on Paper looks like a fun one. I can’t wait to read your review! 🙂 The weather in Vancouver sounds similar to where I’m at in Eastern Washington.
thathappyreader
Thanks Heidi! I’m looking forward to reading it!
Sue Berk Koch
I’m currently reading Circe and it’s better than I thought it would be. (I tend to shy away from best sellers) Enjoy the weather!
thathappyreader
Thanks for reading Sue! I hope you enjoy the rest of the book.
Anne - Books of My Heart
We had that weather pattern in August until mid month. The we had a couple weeks with more 80s than 90s and some rain almost every or every other day. Now it’s heated up again and no rain like the first half of the month. I loved Thank you for Listening. I hope you do too.
