My Week:
It’s been another lovely week here in Vancouver weather wise. We continue to be in a pattern of hot weather for a few days followed by more mild temperatures with plenty of sun. We are predicted to have a few showers later today which are much needed. I’m not one to wish for Fall as when it happens the rains become at times incessant.
We had a few meals out this week and I enjoyed some lovely time with my parents. We are traveling for a few days in a couple of weeks so I’ve been making dinner reservations, looking at things to pack etc. I’m really looking forward to getting away again.

Love in the Villa was released this week on Netflix and I’m looking forward to watching it this weekend. I love a good forced proximity romance!

I hope you have a great getaway with your family. We just got back from a visit to one son and we’re going in two weeks to see the other.
Thank You for Listening sounds good to me. I’ll look for it.
I wonder if I might also like Love in the Villa. I’m always up for a romantic comedy.

Getting away sounds nice! I hope you have a good time. I wish it would rain here, but I have a feeling it will be a relatively dry fall and winter here. We desperately need the rain though. Love the Villa looks like it will be fun. I will have to check it out on Netflix. Enjoy you reading and have a great week!

Anne - Books of My Heart
I really loved Thank You For Listening. I’m just looking for the heat to drop again. We’re still sitting around 85-90F, 30-32C. The temperature isn’t changing much but we get a north wind more often a few days a week where the humidity is lower and it feels great. Enjoy your trip!

Jenni Elyse
I’m glad you got to spend some time with your parents. I always love packing and preparing for trips. I love the rain, but not when it’s incessant. Then, it just becomes too gloomy and too hard to go anywhere. Though, now that I’m not wearing glasses, the rain doesn’t bother me very much. I hated dealing with raindrops on my glasses and no dry clothing to clean them off. The things we have trouble with, lol.

Thanks for reading Jenni!
