The Sunday Post #33

The Sunday Post
  1. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

We were completely surprised to find that we could order a new dishwasher and have it delivered the next day. Now we have to wait until my brother-in-law can help us install it, though. Good luck with your stove.

After reading nothing but nonfiction (well, and picture books!) in November, I’m really looking forward to reading some fiction in December.

    1. thathappyreader

Glad to hear you are making progress to having your dishwasher up and running again! I don’t think I could commit to reading nonfiction for a month so good for you Deb! Have a wonderful week ahead.

  2. Harvee

I enjoyed watching Dead to Me too.

    1. thathappyreader

Glad to hear that Harvee! Thanks for reading.

  3. Aj @ Read All The Things!

I hope you feel better soon! Have a good week!

  4. Amy @ A Novel Start

oooo I really, really, really, really want to read The Matzah Ball! I hope you enjoyed it, it looks like such a great book x

I really enjoyed it Amy and hope that you do too!

      1. Amy @ A Novel Start

That’s great news! I’m hoping to read it next month, I’m really excited!

  5. JamieAdStories

Oh I must check out Dead to Me season three. I find it so amusing. What’s wrong with Christina?

    1. thathappyreader

Christina was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis recently. She had battled breast cancer a few years ago. I have nothing but respect for her.

  6. Jinjer

I really like your little December picture with the red cup and saucer and I think that is yarn in the bowl?

Sorry about the illnesses and the stove. My 80-yo email pal is also currently ovenless and living out of crockpot and air fryer. A few minutes ago she asked me the time and temp to air fry cut up potatoes. Or wait!!! Did she want to know about cooking a whole potato? Yikes. I’d better send her instructions for that, also.

I haven’t started S3 of Dead to Me yet but will soon. I love that series and I think Christina is amazing to keep working when she probably doesn’t feel all that great. Makes me look bad when I can’t drag myself out of my chair to vacuum.

It is yarn in the bowl! I hope your email pal gets her oven soon! I’m almost half way through Season 3 and it’s sad but good! Thanks for reading Jinger!

  7. Anne - Books of My Heart

I hope you all feel better soon. Lowe’s needs to tell you your credit so you can get a new oven ordered! Hopefully this week will go more smoothly.

Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post

Thank Anne! Just waiting to hear back from Lowe’s.

  8. Greg

We had a similar problem when we had to replace our fridge. Took weeks to get it. And hopefully everyone is feeling better there!

    That show looks pretty good.

    1. thathappyreader

It is Greg! Yes we’re into weeks now. Thanks for reading.

  9. Wendy Williams

That’s too bad about your oven. I just finished the Wedding Ranch a couple of days ago and I really liked it, and I hope you do too.

  10. Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out

I hope the range is replaced quickly, being without an oven is a pain.

Wishing you a great reading week

    1. thathappyreader

Thank you Shelleyrae! I hope you have a great reading week too.

  11. Ann

Hope you get your oven fix soon. Have a great week.

  12. Rolé @ Hooked By That Book

Hope your oven is fixed soon. I know exactly how frustrating that is. Good luck!

    1. thathappyreader

Thanks Rolé! A replacement is coming soon!
