My Week:
The weather here in Vancouver remains a mixture of sunny period and showers with cooler than normal temperatures. I haven’t had the desire to sit outside and read yet but hopefully things will warm up soon and stay a bit drier. Having said that, I can’t help but admire the azalea from my garden that I can see from my window. Friday my sister hosted a family dinner for my Dad’s 86th birthday! My Dad is one of the bravest men I know haven’t had a multitude of surgeries and radiation in the past few years. He has a clean bill of health right now giving us all the more reason to celebrate!
What I Read This Week:
I finished 1 physical book and 1 audiobook this week and enjoyed both of these very much!
Next Week I Hope to Read:
What I Watched:
Tonight is the second second premiere of Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. I adored the first season of the show as well as his book Taste: My Life Through Food.

Katie - The British Bibliophile
I LOVE the Stanley Tucci series, although at the moment only Season 1 is on BBC iPlayer (I’m in the UK). The episode on Rome in particular really hit me as it’s my favourite city, and now I feel like I can make some better attempts to cook pasta.

Thanks for reading and commenting Katie! Have you read his book Taste yet? You’ll love it if you haven’t!

I am currently getting into everything to do with Stanley Tucci, haha — fab man! I am glad to hear your Dad is doing well (my husband is brave too as he has had many, many surgeries and radiation treatments and his courage is inspiring). Wishing you a happy week of blogging, etc ahead!

It’s so wonderful to find out that your dad is happy and healthy right now at 86 years. That’s a phenomenal achievement – especially after all he’s gone through. Happy birthday to him! And ahhh! I’m desperate to read Carrie Hope Fletcher’s books. She’s one of my favorite narrators and I was so excited when I learned last year that she’s also a fabulous author!

Thank you so much Stephanie! I really enjoyed With This Kiss and will be reviewing it on my blog on Wednesday. Thanks for reading and commenting!
