The Sunday Post
  1. Amanda Kay Oaks-Christman

I really liked The Man I Never Met! Hope you enjoy it as well.

  2. Aj @ Read All The Things!

Food is really expensive here too. I’m kind of hoping it will encourage me to eat less. 🙂 I hope you have a great week!

  3. Molly | Transatlantic Notes

It sounds like you’ve had a productive week with some good reads. I have been seeing more sparse shelves in our local grocery store too and I think it’s because people are buying multiples to stock up. I don’t know what I’ve got planned for the coming week but I hope to finish the current book I’m reading (How the Word is Passed – Clint Smith) and catching up on some blogging! Have a good week!

That could be it Molly! Have a wonderful week ahead and enjoy How the Word is Passed.

  4. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

Our food prices are crazy these days. Eggs are three times what they were three years ago. We also are having occasional shortages. If I can’t get something at the grocery, I can usually find it at Amazon, though.

I’m glad you’ve read and reviewed the new Michelle Obama book. I feel like I really need her light these days!

Michelle Obama is such an inspiration and motivator! I love her books. Have a wonderful week ahead Deb!

  5. Drew Alexander Ross

Congrats on the productive week! And as always, I love the layout of these posts. And I have noticed some shelves being empty lately here in Los Angeles :/

    1. thathappyreader

Thanks Drew! I hope your empty shelves don’t stay that way long.

  6. Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys

Sounds like a good week – nothing too drastic! Hope you enjoy your books and have a terrific week.

      Thanks for reading Kathleen!

  9. Anne - Books of My Heart

I think it’s spotty with things rotating in and out of being available. So I tend to buy more stuff when I find it. It may be the January thaw but spring is a good two months out yet.

    1. thathappyreader

I have began to do the same thing. Yes I never expect spring before the official start day. Have a great week!

  10. Jinjer

There was only one item on my grocery list that I wasn’t able to find on the shelf today, and that was the heavy cream. I hope 1/2 n 1/2 will work.

    1. thathappyreader

Glad to her you don’t seem to have the shortages. Half and half is coffee cream so I hope you don’t have to whip it! Thanks for reading.

  11. Wendy Williams

I don’t go inside grocery stores much anymore as I’ve become a fan of curbside pickup. But, I have noticed online several items that are not available that used to be available all the time. I’ll have to look for The Way Home as I like Andie McDowell.

    1. thathappyreader

I hope we both enjoy the series Wendy!

  12. Carla

The prices are crazy everywhere Jodie. Apples at Publix in Florida were $4.00 a lb. The weather here is gorgeous though. At home, in Southern Ontario, they had 6 inches of snow today, so I’m glad I’m not there. Have a wonderful week.

I need to visit Florida one winter Carla! Thanks for reading.
