My Week:
Life is stressful these days. Several of my close family are having substantial health issues right now and we are awaiting the results of tests to determine if further investigation or treatment is required. This has been going on for a few months now and stressor upon stressor is taking its toll on all of my family. I’m hoping that next week we receive good news and in the meantime we are trying to stay positive. As a nurse, I’m using all my skills to try and support those around me as we struggle through this difficult time. Reading is a great pleasure to me, but I must admit it’s difficult to maintain my focus some days and thus I’m not reading as much as I normally would.
We’ve had a bit of snow off and on since last weekend. We finally see the grass coming through today so I hope that’s it for the winter. It is very rare that we get snow at this time of the year in Vancouver. A warmer, drier week is predicted ahead.

What I’m Watching:
Last week I noted I would be watching Daisy Jones & The Six on Amazon Prime which released the first three episodes on March 3. I binged watched these episodes and loving the series so far. It is a little different from the Taylor Jenkins Reid book, but it gives me the same vibe the book did.
I’m a big fan of the British TV series Call The Midwife and Season 12 is starting on March 19 on PBS in the US and Canada (it’s released in the U.K. sooner). Is anyone else a fan of the series? It’s a period drama set in the East End of London in the late 1950’s – 1960’s about a group of midwives and nuns.

I’m sorry to hear that your family is dealing with health issues. It is definitely stressful, especially while waiting for test results and diagnosis before treatment. I keep saying I am going to watch Call of the Midwives, but haven’t started it yet. I hope you have a better week, Jody and that the weather will help keep your spirits up.
