My Week:
Happy Easter Sunday to all those celebrating! It’s been a quieter week. I have been able to get out daily for my walks despite a real mixed bag of weather – rain, sun and wind call all occur within the same 60 minute walk. This is Spring in Vancouver and I can’t let a little bad weather keep me inside.
I’ve also been cleaning and getting ready to host Easter Dinner later today. My family always does turkey for Easter and the prices are double what they were last year. The avian flu has really hit our bird population so this was expected. I’m looking forward to seeing my whole family minus my sister and brother-in-law who are away for the long weekend.
I’m excited for our own trip next weekend. I like to get packed a few days before so if something else comes up I need to attend to that I’m available. There will be no posts from April 15-20. New posts will return April 21.

What I’m Watching:
Coming to theatres very soon is another of Taylor Jenkin Reid’s books “One True Loves”. I read this book back in 2016 before I started blogging and really enjoyed it. It’s unlikely that I will watch this in the theatre as it’s not really my thing, but I look forward to seeing it when it comes to a streaming service.

Enjoy your time today. Everything at the supermarket has gone up so much—it’s crazy.
And I hope you will report back in after your trip. I am looking forward to a trip of my own, but it’s still ten days away.

I’ve got a trip next weekend too! Mine is a conference for librarians, but I’m still excited! I’ll still blog though as I’ll be in a hotel room by myself when not at the conference. Lots of reading time I’m hoping too. Hope you have a good week and a great trip!

I hope your dinner went well, Easter is generally all about seafood here.
Wishing you a great reading week.

Thank you Shelleyrae! Seafood is abundant here too but allergies prevent it from getting onto our Easter table.
Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys
We have no trips planned for quite a while – which is unfortunate cuz this Seattle spring is pretty darn dreary. Gray and drizzle and more gray and drizzle. Sigh. Hope your getaway is delightful. Hope you have a terrific week.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter, Jodie. I understand that weather, we get it too. Today it went up to 81 and by Monday it is going to be in the 50s and rainy. Oh well, the grass is green and the daffodils are beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful holiday. I want to watch One True Loves, but am the same as you, I don’t go to the theater much, I will wait for it to stream somewhere.
