My Week:
I had a great week! Our weather has progressively improved during the week and the sunshine is here. Our temperatures are in the mid-twenties this weekend and it’s been great to get outside without the need of a jacket. We’re now planning the garden and we will be starting to plant later today. It’s time to prepare the patio for the season!
I was also invited to a former colleague’s retirement luncheon at the Public Health Unit I retired from at the end of 2017. While most of the staff I worked with are no longer working there, about a dozen of us who had worked there came in for this event. It was so much fun seeing everyone and celebrating this special lady.

What I’m Watching:
We watched “Respect” starring Jennifer Hudson on Crave TV this weekend – it’s likely available outside of Canada as well. It’s the true story of Aretha Franklin which was released in 2021. The acting and music was excellent and I’m highly recommending it. Here’s the official trailer:

Be prepared for a roller coaster of a thriller Vicki! I enjoyed this book immensely and couldn’t put it down.

Lucky you to have good weather. Ours was terrible this week. We are back down to single digits to low teens with rain almost everyday. I should have stayed in Florida for a few more weeks.
