My Week:
The cool wet weather still persists and we are breaking weather records with our low temperatures. While I’m delaying planting out many flowers and vegetables, I did pick up some hanging baskets which are making my patio a bit more inviting. It was a quiet week otherwise so I did get some good reading time in.
What I Read This Week:
This week I read 1 ebook and listened to 2 audiobooks.
Next Week I Hope to Read:
What I Watched:
I am a big fan of This is Us. There is only one more episode before the series finale and I’m really going to miss my weekly ”visits” with this family. Mandy Moore who stars in this show said when she read this week’s script she reacted so emotionally she actually got sick. Get out the tissues! Any other This is Us fans out there? For those of you who haven’t seen this TV show before, you might want to check it out. Here’s a trailer for the show.

It’s been cool in my neck of the woods too It finally warmed up yesterday and today–mid 80’s, which is nice. I hope it doesn’t get any warmer for a while, though. I want to enjoy the moderate weather for a while. I hope it warms up in Vancouver soon!

I watched the first three seasons of This is Us, but I gave up after that. I’ve been reading recaps, so I know what is going on. Not sure I would have been able to watch it with everything they’ve gone through.

Enjoy your hanging baskets! They look beautiful. The heat here is setting in which I don’t mind to much if it wasn’t accompanied by crazy humidity and even worse – mass quantities of mosquitos! I never watched This is Us because it sounded like I would ugly cry from beginning to end but I have so many friends who absolutely adore it (and have ugly cried from beginning to end!). I have only watched a handful of episodes of This is Us, but I did enjoy them. Maybe I should do a binge watch. Our weather has been all over the place. Cold spring temps, then a week in the low 80s, back into the 60s again. I have not bought my plants yet. I’m planning on listening to One night with Us as well, I hope we both enjoy it.
