My Week:
It’s been a quiet week for me which is nice because next week is full of appointments. I’m enjoying the mild weather we’ve been having and try to spend as much time as I can outdoors. I’m having a run of some great reads right now as my favourite authors publish at this time of the year. Do you find that there are times of the year that you look forward to for book releases? Summer reads and Christmas reads are definitely my favourites and I’m already building my list for my annual 15 Books of Christmas Reading Challenge!

What I’m Watching:
We watched “Maybe I Do” on Netflix this week and really enjoyed it. It’s the story of a young couple deciding on whether or not they should marry who decide to consult with their parents. When they bring their parents together for the first time, they aren’t aware they already share a past. This is a star-studded cast including Richard Gere, Diane Keaton and Emma Roberts. Here’s the trailer:

Hooray! Another Christmas book lover! Thanks for reading Jamie!
Diana @ Book of Secrets
Summer themed-books are some of my favorites. Maybe I Do has a fabulous cast. Enjoy your week!

I’m glad that you enjoy summer-themed books too Diana! Thanks for reading.
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
Maybe I Do looks fun.
It’s a bit strange for me because it’s winter here, but the US and UK releases are all summer focused.
Wishing you a happy reading week
thathappyreader
Yes I would imagine that would be strange. There are plenty of books releasing here though that aren’t summer-focused too! Thanks for reading.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
Maybe I Do looks good! I don’t know if there are specific times of the year exactly for me, but I love whenever the SmartyPants Romance has their release schedules, one in the spring and one in the fall!
thathappyreader
I haven’t heard of SmartyPants Romance but I’m going to check it out! Have a great week Lisa!
Britt
Maybe I Do sounds like a fun way to spend a rainy day. We don’t watch a lot of TV here, but we’re always looking for something fun to enjoy when the storms roll in. Adding this to the list!
Sarah Collins
Very much looking forward to the new Ashley Audrain, been desperate to see what she comes up with next!

Thank you JoAnn! You too!
Anne - Books of My Heart
It’s heating up here and won’t be fun outside some of the next two months. I’m looking forward to Hello Stranger. I’ll be listening to it soon.

I’m always excited to see the new books coming out during the peak times, too. That Katherine Center book is one I have my eye on. Center is coming this year to our big library fundraiser, and we are thrilled.
I’m glad you got time to read this week because next week will be too busy for you to do a lot of reading.

Thank you Deb! Oh I would love to meet Katherine Center. I love her books and backstory.
