Welcome to The Sunday Post #72! The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
My Week:
It’s been a lovely late summer week here in Vancouver. We had a touch of rain on Tuesday but otherwise we have had sunny, dry weather. We are still experiencing a drought but I know this will be ending soon with the return of our rainy season. The state of emergency has expired in the province and has not been renewed.
I spent a lovely afternoon with friends walking and catching up on Wednesday. We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary on Saturday! I visited my parents on the weekend and hope to join my sister in the annual Terry Fox walk/run this morning. I’ll also be spending part of Sunday preparing for our upcoming trip.
What I Read This Week:
Next Week I Hope To Read:
What I’m Watching:
“Based On A True Story” premiered this week and stars Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina. The premise behind this TV series is that the main characters capitalize on the country’s obsession with true crime by starting their own podcast. It’s on the W network in Canada and Peacock in the U.S.

I think I would like The Book Club Hotel the next time I’m in the mood for something light.
Based on a True Story reminds me of Only Murders in the Building. I wonder if they are really similar.
Happy anniversary!

Thanks Deb! The two shows are somewhat similar.

Happy Anniversary – that length of time is an achievement:)). We have also had weirdly warm weather for the time of year, though we’re due to have colder weather this coming week. I hope it’s a good one for you, too.
