My Week:
It’s been a busy week! We spent most of the week in Las Vegas in hot weather. We arrived at the airport on Monday in time to have lunch before our departure but then things went a little sideways. We kept getting notifications that our flight was delayed due to a mechanical problem. We finally left 4.5 hours later making for a long travel day. Luckily our flights coming home on Friday were on time. We had a great time but as always I always happy to get home. I was happy to view the new Sphere in the distance from the Bellagio and I think it’s a fun addition to the Las Vegas experience.
We’re expecting a large wind and rain storm for several days starting this evening so I’ve spent some time making sure our emergency lighting is fully charged and that I have candles at the ready in case we lose power. This weather event should help with our drought but the wind is a concern with trees coming down that have been stressed over the summer.

What I’m Watching:
I was happy to see that Season 3 of The Morning Show is now available on Apple TV+! I downloaded several episodes to watch on the plane and it helped pass the time quickly.

It’s been maybe 15 years since I went to Vegas. The food and shows were great but I really didn’t enjoy the cigarettes. Are they still allowed so many places?

There are a few casinos such as Park MGM that are completely smoke-free Anne but certainly not keeping up with the non-smoking policy you might see elsewhere.
