Welcome to The Sunday Post #78! The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
My Week:
It has been a cooler than normal week here in Vancouver with a mixture of sun and showers. We had our first frost this week and the last few mornings we’ve dipped below freezing before the sun rises. The leaves are beautiful in their vast array of colour and many trees in the neighbourhood have started to drop their leaves.
My Mom has shown quite a bit of improvement this week and Friday the family Dr added back one of her medications. I’m hoping this will make her feel stronger and more capable of returning to her normal routines.
In preparation for the start of my Canadian Cancer Society biking challenge which begins November 1 I got on my stationary bike to get a feel for using it again. Day One was fine, but getting on the bike for Day Two reminded me how much I despise the tenderness I also experience when sitting down on that bike during the first few days. If you know, you know.
What I Read This Week:

What I’m Watching:
I’m looking forward to experiencing another book which I read years ago being made into a Netflix production. “All The Light We Cannot See” is the Pulitzer-prize winning novel written by Anthony Doerr which tells the story of a French blind girl who crosses paths with a German soldier. The film is releasing on November 2.

Kal @ Reader Voracious
I’m jealous of the weather you’re experiencing, it’s been 80 degrees here in SoCal – NOT the vibe for cozy reading! Good luck with your bike challenge and I hope you have a fantastic week.

Best of luck with the training for the bike challenge – and yes… I totally get that tenderness. WHY can’t they make padded seats on bicycles??? Glad to hear your mother is improving – I hope she continues to feel stronger and that this is a good week:).

Thank you Sarah!
Anne - Books of My Heart
I’m not looking forward to our first freeze this week but it looks like it will warm up again right away. We are only having maybe a half day of rain each week, otherwise our weather was great this week. I am debating adding some riding of my exercise bike to my routine. It would help build my cardio stamina.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post

Thanks Anne! That’s exactly why I’ve decided to return to biking.

Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
Hope your mother continues to feel better. Good luck with the biking! I really need to get to exercising again now that my mowing is done. We had some freezes the past few mornings and some snowflakes today, although the ground was still too warm for anything to stick. Hope you have a good week!

Good luck on the bike challenge. I am curious to see how the book covert’s as a tv series. I read the book many many years ago but remember it fondly.. I hope they don’t ruin it.

Thanks Hena! I hope they don’t ruin it too!
