Welcome to The Sunday Post #95! The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
My Week:
We’ve had cooler than normal temperatures this week with the wind chill factored in and a mixed bag of sun, rain, hail and snow. The poor daffodils and tulips waiting to put on their show don’t know what to do! The forecast is for temperatures in the high teens in celsius next week and I honestly cannot wait.
It’s been a relatively quiet week (thank goodness!). I did our taxes on Sunday and then helped my parents and brother do theirs on Tuesday. Done for another year 🎆! I accompanied Dad for treatment on Wednesday and then to an assessment and initial orientation in the event he needs peritoneal dialysis. Aside from some fatigue, I thank God he is managing everything very well right now.
What I’m Watching:
I will be watching Apples Never Fall on W Network here in Canada beginning March 21. It’s a week later than it starts for those of you in the U.S. where it will be shown on Peacock. It’s based on the book of the same name by Liane Moriarty and stars Annette Bening and Sam Neill. Is anyone else going to be watching?

I’m glad your dad is doing well so far with his treatment. Aren’t you good? You did your taxes already and you helped your family do theirs, too.
I’ll be curious to see what you think about the new Abby Jimenez book.

Thank you Deb!

Glad your dad’s treatment seems to be going well. My stepdad will begin his new treatment this week. Lots to think about with it, so we’ll see how it goes. I’ll be watching the new season of The Amazing Race this week, so I’m excited for that! Temps were cooler here too, hoping to get back up to spring like later this week. Have a good week!

I’m glad to hear your dad is doing okay, Jodie. It will be nice when the temperatures rise and you get some nice spring weather. Those poor spring flowers were so confused this year. Enjoy your week.

Very glad to hear that you father is responding well to the treatment. All our spring flowers are emerging – which is wonderful. Daffodils, in particular, are such bright splashes of the sunlight to come. I hope it warms up for you very soon! And there’s a special sort of satisfaction in doing the taxes that nothing else touches. Have a good week, Jodie:).

That’s great news about Dad!
YES I will be watching Apples Never Fall…but only if I can figure out if the channel I get is Peacock or is it Paramount Plus? Whichever one it is, I get it via my Walmart Plus subscription but I can’t figure out how to get to it on my TV via my Roku stick. It will require me to sit down and FOCUS and have my password book handy.

Good luck with Jinger!
