My Week:
It’s been a crazy week for weather! We started the week with rain showers and wind but from Thursday on it’s been sunny and warm. The higher than normal temperatures will remain until the middle of next week.
I accompanied my parents to Dad’s chemo appointment on Wednesday and he has an appointment with the surgeon on Saturday. I was able to meet up with friends for a long walk on Thursday – our first time since October! Our group has expanded by two as we have some co-workers who have recently retired. It felt great to catch up and get in some good exercise along the way. My hubby and I also did some planning for an upcoming trip and we’re counting the days until we can get away for a few days to recharge our batteries.
What I’m Watching:
I had The Holdovers on my watch list for quite some time now and we finally watched it on Amazon Prime this week. It’s billed as a comedy but I would say that’s a bit of a stretch but we enjoyed it. It stars Paul Giamatti and Da’Vine Joy Randolph who won the Best Supporting Actress award at this year’s Oscars.

I am so happy to hear you and hubby are getting away to recharge, Jodie. If anyone needs this getaway, it’s you. With everything you have gone through lately, you two deserve this. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Thank you AJ! It won’t be for a few weeks yet but love to plan! I hope you can get away soon.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
We had the beautiful weather, the stormy weather, a few more nice days, and then today and tomorrow I think will be a little more like winter still. A trip will be nice! I’m going to Branson with my family over my spring break the last week of this month. And I’m looking forward to that, but looking forward even more to the conference I have in April where I’ll be alone in my hotel room which will be a little more relaxing then being with family constantly for a few days. Hope you have a good week!

Yay for being able to meet up and walk with a friend. We had spring weather earlier this week, tornado warnings Thursday night, and it’s snowing right now. The weather is crazy. Have a great week!

I hope you and your hubby will enjoy your trip. I have gone on a few trips with one of my daughters, but hubby is a homebody and a couch potato. And I also hope things go well with your father’s upcoming appointment.

Molly | Transatlantic Notes
As is often typical of the area I live in, we had all seasons of weather within one week, haha! Every time I think it’s warming up and getting Spring-like, it goes and snows the next day. However, this is a perfect excuse to stay indoors and read or watch something great. I must get to The Holdovers as I have heard good things about it!

I hope that you enjoy The Holdovers Molly and that spring-like weather is here to stay. ☺️
