The Sunday Post
  1. Jody

I am so happy to hear you and hubby are getting away to recharge, Jodie. If anyone needs this getaway, it’s you. With everything you have gone through lately, you two deserve this. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Thank you so much Jody. Happy St Patrick’s Day to you too!

  2. Aj @ Read All The Things!

Ooh, a trip. I miss traveling. I haven’t had a vacation since 2016. I hope you have a great week!

Thank you AJ! It won’t be for a few weeks yet but love to plan! I hope you can get away soon.

  3. Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)

We had the beautiful weather, the stormy weather, a few more nice days, and then today and tomorrow I think will be a little more like winter still. A trip will be nice! I’m going to Branson with my family over my spring break the last week of this month. And I’m looking forward to that, but looking forward even more to the conference I have in April where I’ll be alone in my hotel room which will be a little more relaxing then being with family constantly for a few days. Hope you have a good week!

  4. Cindy's Book Corner

Yay for being able to meet up and walk with a friend. We had spring weather earlier this week, tornado warnings Thursday night, and it’s snowing right now. The weather is crazy. Have a great week!

    1. thathappyreader

That is crazy weather Cindy! Stay safe!

  5. Robin Loves Reading

I hope you and your hubby will enjoy your trip. I have gone on a few trips with one of my daughters, but hubby is a homebody and a couch potato. And I also hope things go well with your father’s upcoming appointment.

  6. JoAnn @ Gulfside Musing

Sounds like you’ve been really busy with all the family stuff going on. I’m glad you got a chance to walk with friends and can get away with your husband soon, too!

  7. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

You are wonderful to help your family out so much. I am sure they are very grateful. And it’s fantastic that you got to walk with your friends. Hope you are able to plan out a lovely trip.

I will have to look for The Holdovers.

  8. Anne - Books of My Heart

I hope that warm weather comes east! We are just middling weather, not cold, not hot. It’s great to hear you may be able to get away and relax a few days.

Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post

  9. Carla

It sounds like a good week overall. Isn’t it great to get out and walk with friends. I agree it rejuvenates. I hope you and your husband have a wonderful getaway. You certainly deserve it. Enjoy your upcoming week, Jodie.

  10. Molly | Transatlantic Notes

As is often typical of the area I live in, we had all seasons of weather within one week, haha! Every time I think it’s warming up and getting Spring-like, it goes and snows the next day. However, this is a perfect excuse to stay indoors and read or watch something great. I must get to The Holdovers as I have heard good things about it!

    1. thathappyreader

I hope that you enjoy The Holdovers Molly and that spring-like weather is here to stay. ☺️

  11. Her Digital Coffee

I hope you have a good trip, Jodie! You definitely deserve time to rest and relax. I hope you have a great week!

Thank you. We’re a few weeks away yet but the trip planning is part of the fun!
