My Week:
It’s been a typical spring week here in Vancouver with a mixed bag of showers, sunshine and even thunderstorms. As I write this Saturday morning, we are expecting warm and sunny temperatures for the next few days. Perfect to walk and see the flowers and tree leaves emerging from their winter slumber. It makes the tough times a little easier to cope with.
I’m back in the routine of five times a week stationary bike riding! For some reason I have been having issues this time around with carpal tunnel from riding and so I invested in some splints to keep my hands in better alignment. So far it’s working so fingers crossed.
Later today we will be having our family Easter dinner. It will be our first family dinner where we have been all together since Thanksgiving. I feel blessed that we are all healthy enough to get together and spend some time together. I hope that those of you who celebrate Easter will have a lovely time with friends and family making new memories.
What I’m Watching:
I watched the first episode of “The Baxters” which debuted on Prime March 28. It’s based on the bestselling novels by Karen Kingsbury and stars Roma Downey and Ted McGinley. I love a good family drama and I enjoyed the first episode. Here’s the trailer:

Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
Our weather is all over the place too. We had a bunch of snow, then sunshine, today it might rain which will turn into snow overnight. No green yet. That’s going to take a while.

I hope that it comes soon for you Rolé.
Carla @ Carla Loves To Read
I’m so happy that you were all able to get together for Easter, Jodie. How wonderful for your family. I got home and the weather is cool and crisp, but the grass is green and needs to be cut soon. I will have to check out The Baxters. I have read a few of the books in the series and enjoyed them. I also love both Roma Downey and Ted McGinley. I hope you had a wonderful week.
