Twice In a Blue Moon is another winner for the writing duo of Christina Lauren. I highly recommend to those that enjoy contemporary romance.
The story begins with Tate and Sam finding an intense first love while vacationing with family in London. For much of her life, Tate has carried a secret about her identity. She discloses her actual identity for the first time ever to Sam who betrays Tate by revealing this information publicly. The impact of this deception effects Tate profoundly, and she loses her ability to trust others.
Fourteen years later Tate is an actress filming a movie on a remote location when she meets Sam again. She is challenged by the appearance of her first and only real love. Is there a reason for his betrayal all those years ago?
I really enjoyed Twice In a Blue Moon and found it to be beautifully written. I loved the story that was being filmed and its historical importance, not only within the book but, to the modern world. The book is not the romantic comedy found in many of Christina Lauren’s work, but just as engaging and captivating. I highly recommend this book.
