Hi everyone! It’s time for Who Wears It Better April 2022 edition! In this feature, I look at different book covers used for the same book. In some cases, the cover is chosen by geography (e.g. North America or UK). Other times, it’s based on the edition of the book (hardcover, paperback, kindle etc). Where it becomes confusing is when the book is given a completely different title! Just for fun, and because I love talking books, let’s see what different books covers I’ve noticed recently. You can click on the book covers to read my review of each book when available. Let’s go!
In a New York Minute by Kate Spencer
I’m not sure if the alternate cover is based on geography or not as the same publisher has different covers for Kindle editions. If someone has seen this alternate cover outside of North America, please let me know! My preference is for the original cover simply because the colours draw me in.
The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth
These are 2 covers that are vastly different. While I appreciate the aesthetic of each of these, my preference is for the beauty I see in the US cover.
Reputation by Lex Croucher
These covers are more similar. I love the splash of colour in each of them. I do have a slight preference for the UK cover and the book title pops more.
The Last House on the Street by Diane Chamberlain
This one is a little more challenging for me as I really think both of them are great covers. If I had to choose just one, the hardcover edition with that pop of colour in the title is my preference.
The Christmas Wedding Guest by Susan Mallery
This is the most difficult cover to choose for me this month! I love both of these cover so much! I adore the Christmas covers with a wedding dress in the US cover, but I’m also drawn to the icy blue and snow in the UK cover. If I have to choose, I must select the US cover. I’m a sucker for wedding dresses on book covers.
So that’s Who Wears it Better- April 2022 edition! I’d love to know which covers you prefer, so please let me know in the comments. I appreciate you reading and supporting this blog and hope that you have a wonderful day. ☺️

Thanks for reading Amanda! I love the variety of book covers!
Wendy
Great post! I’ve always been fascinated why book names are changed. Like The Book of Negros to Someone Knows my Name.

What a great example Wendy! Thanks for reading. ☺️
AMAZING BABY
This is so fun! I must admit, I have bought the same book twice because it was a different cover and I didn’t realize it until after the fact. I preferred the yellow cover of the first book and the orange cover of the second book.

Thank you for reading Elle!
Carla
I agree with all your choices, Jodie except for Reputation. I don’t like some of the faces so close up. The skyline on In a New York Minute is what I really like about the original cover. Great post.
