It’s time for Who Wears It Better March 2022 edition! In this feature, I look at different book covers used for the same book. In some cases, the cover is chosen by geography (e.g. North America or UK). Other times, it’s based on the edition of the book (hardcover, paperback, kindle etc). Where it becomes confusing is when the book is given a completely different title! Just for fun, and because I love talking books, let’s see what different books covers I’ve noticed recently. You can click on the book covers to read my review of each book when available. Let’s go!
I enjoy both of these covers! I love the colours in the US cover and I love the intimacy shown in the UK cover. This is a hard one for me but I have too give this one to the US cover.
Add One Night on the Island to your Goodreads shelf
This is another example where geography not only produces different book covers, but different titles for the same book. I enjoy all these covers but give this one to the US Paperback because of the title.
Add The Bright Side Running Club to your Goodreads shelf
This is an example where different publishers (in this case both US based) pubish the same book with different covers. Aren’t these both gorgeous covers? I love the colours in each of these but give the Doubleday cover my vote for including this beautiful woman.
Add Wahala to your Goodreads shelf
Two more beautiful covers! I prefer the colours in the UK Cover but love the tropical feel in the US cover. My choice? A slight edge to the US cover because of the toucan!
Add The Unhoneymooners to your Goodreads shelf
I like both of these covers. The covers are quite similar and I love the colours. The UK cover is my choice because of the cute message on the coffee cup.
Add Asking For a Friend to your Goodreads shelf
So that’s Who Wears it Better- March 2022 edition! I’d love to know which covers you prefer, so please let me know in the comments. I appreciate you reading and supporting this blog and hope that you have a wonderful day. ☺️
Sarah Collins

I could not choose between the Wahala covers. Love them both. Using that warm yellow in the cover for the Unhoneymooners is such a win win because its eye-catching.

Anything floral usually gets me interested, haha — it’s so fascinating to see the different covers and how much they may/may not impact whether I’m drawn to them. Fab post!

Thank you Molly!
Aspen Hite
Love the cover compare and contrast! Plus got to add a few new ones to my TBR. 😁

Oh I love this! I actually agree with all of your choices, although both of the Wahala covers are wonderful. I can’t wait to read The Unhoneymooners this summer too! Thanks for sharing.

I hope you love The Unhoneymooners! Thanks for reading.☺️
Eri
I loved the yellow floral version of the cover and both Walhala covers. It is definitely interesting how different sometimes covers to the same book can be. However, I have learned not to judge a book by the cover. Some of them might be more appealing than others but what is written inside is the fancy thing!

That is so true Eri. Thanks for reading!
Caroline
I love this series of who wears it better! I think I agree with you on all of them 🙂 x

Thanks for reading Caroline!
Wendy Williams
I think The Bright Side Running Club is such a better title. When I see Cancer in the title, I might think it’s more of a tragic book than it was. I love this post, Jodie. It’s one of my favorite features that you do.

Thank you Wendy!
Sophie
I love this series! I usually prefer the UK covers but this month I think I prefer most of the US ones. Both of the walhala covers are beautiful though!

Thanks Sophie! I’m glad you enjoy this series!
Stephanie
I always love seeing these posts of yours. They’re so much fun! And you introduce me to new and alternate editions I didn’t know about. I definitely prefer the UK covers for most, but I will say the US edition for The Bright Side Running Club is just too cute!

Thanks Stephanie! I’m glad you’re enjoying this feature!

I get excited every time you post this series! I love seeing the different covers. I have to say I like the U.S. title and cover for Bright Side Running Club significantly more. I’m always curious about the reasoning behind those books that have different titles as well as covers.
thathappyreader
I find it fascinating too! I’m glad you’re enjoying this feature!
Katie
I love this series that you do! I think I agree with all of your picks except for “Asking for a Friend” – I kind of like the US version better.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the series Katie! Thanks for reading.
Jaya Avendel
I always so love these monthly posts! I am seeing some similarities in some of the covers here, but nothing I cannot take a side on! The US Bright Side Running Club is definitely a favorite cover for me too.

Thanks for reading Jaya!

What a fun post! I’ve noticed so many covers when Googling books and it’s cool that different countries use alternative covers. I love the US cover for One Night on the Island, the colors are beautiful. I enjoy The Bright Side Running Club US cover, very interesting how they have different titles! I love both covers for Wahala it’s so hard to choose! I like the US cover for Unhoneymooners and Asking for a Friend. Thanks for sharing!
